Tutorial: Messy Textured Waves at Charles Youssef

Step one: Refresh and prep your strands.

Refresh your hair with the TRESemmé Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo and create a messy side part.

Step two: Add mousse.

Comb a little bit of water through your strands and follow up with a small amount of the TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Firm Control Mousse and make sure to comb the product through your strands.

Step three: Dry your hair.

Use a diffuser to blow-dry your hair until it’s 75% dry. Make sure not to touch your strands until this point so that you can let the product create a messy texture. Lightly start breaking up the texture but make sure to save most of the heavy adjusting for when the hair is 100% dry.

Step four: Tuck and go.

Tuck your hair behind your ears and pull it back behind your shoulders. If your hair is on the straighter side and needs a little bit of help in the texture department, use a curling iron to enhance the waves.
